Hi, I’m Jolian Ardolino.

I am an online psychotherapeutic counsellor accredited by the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS). My style of counselling is pluralistic, which means I draw on a variety of different approaches to tailor therapy to you.

I specialise in supporting people living with anxiety but I work with a range of issues, including stress, bereavement, depression and self-defeating behaviours. As an accredited counsellor and psychotherapist, I work to the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society’s Code of Ethics.

Where are you based?

I live and work in South Wales and I offer counselling to people across Wales and the rest of the United Kingdom. If you are based internationally, please feel free to reach out as I may still be able to support you.

What attracted me to counselling?

As a teenager, I experienced anxiety that was seriously impacting my everyday life. At the time, I was lucky enough to be seen by a Psychologist who helped me turn my life around. Since then, I have dedicated my life to helping others do the same.

My journey so far has included leading anxiety management groups, working with adults with learning disabilities, working in psychiatric hospitals as an Independent Mental Health Advocate, supporting people affected by dementia, managing counselling services for people affected by cancer, and working at a bereavement counselling service - to name just a few. Not only have I worked as a practitioner in delivering services, I have also worked as a senior leader in large national charities, helping to improve the health and social care sector for people with a range of physical and mental health conditions. Throughout all of these roles, I have kept one thing consistent - a person-centred approach that empowers the individual. I bring this approach to my counselling, and I look forward to working together with you soon.
